Overview

The Level 3 International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Advanced Diploma in Oil and Gas Operations focuses on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the oil and gas industry.

The qualification is designed to deliver a high level of occupational capability and provide a sound foundation for progression.

The qualification meets the needs of learners who work or want to work in the oil and gas industry and provides a broad background of understanding of the oil and gas industry and the practical skills and knowledge required.

A certificate for Level 3 International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Advanced Diploma in Teaching, Training and Assessing Learning (1106-21) will only be issued for candidates who successfully complete all units in this qualification.


Course Duration

The Level 3 International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Advanced Diploma in Teaching, Training and Assessing Learning (1106-21) consists of two and a half months of training. 

Contact Hours:  The guided learning hours for this qualification is 100 hours.

Session Format:  The sessions start at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m.


Exams

This unit will be assessed by:

  1. Completion of practical activities to cover the evidence requirements and
  2. Completion of knowledge questions

Upon successful completion of this programme, participants will receive a Level 3 International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Advanced Diploma in Teaching, Training and Assessing Learning (1106-21) from the City and Guilds of London Institute

Awards


The next cohort of students will be enrolled to begin classes in October 2014 for both full-time and part-time classes.

Full-time classes will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm as scheduled.

Deadline for Applications


The expected minimum age limit attached to candidates undertaking this qualification is 18 years unless there is a higher age requirement by Trinidad and Tobago national law.

This qualification targets candidates who currently who currently manage training programmes at their place of work. Also candidates should have a reasonable level of language and literacy skills in English.
